About a Project
Celestial came to us to build Flo, a unified field service mobile suite for complex renewable infrastructure. We engineered an offline-first platform combining hands-free voice dictation, AI-guided work notes, and automated image analysis, integrated deep into ERP/CRM systems — connecting disconnected field workers across solar and wind sites with the back office.

Celestial needed more than a digitized form app. Field operations were losing revenue to incomplete documentation, payroll discrepancies, billing disputes, and missed maintenance — all in remote sites with little to no connectivity. We had to build a platform that worked 100% offline, actively assisted technicians rather than burdening them, and synced cleanly with enterprise back-office systems.

Leveraging edge-capable speech recognition, technicians can dictate their operating logs, pause work, and document findings without taking off their gloves or putting down their tools, slashing documentation time from hours to minutes.

AI Watchlist (The 'Third Eye')
As technicians upload images from the site, the Celestial AI agent analyzes the imagery to detect subtle degradation, rust, or compliance issues. This turns routine preventative maintenance (PM) visits into upsell opportunities for repairs.
Instant Time Capturing
A dedicated interface for instant, precise time tracking. Technicians can easily start their day, log breaks, and end their shift. The system automatically syncs this data with the payroll engine, eliminating manual timesheets and payroll discrepancies.

Offline-First Operations
Wind farms and solar plants rarely have reliable 5G. The Celestial Flo application is 100% operational in poor or zero connectivity environments. All data is cached locally via SQLite and automatically synced to the enterprise backend when connectivity is restored.

Automated Geofencing
Automatic location verification ensuring work is logged physically on-site. The system prevents work orders from being initiated or completed if the technician's GPS coordinates do not match the assigned site, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Digital Field Procedures
Complex paper checklists are transformed into dynamic digital forms. These forms guide technicians step-by-step through required procedures, ensuring standardized maintenance and preventing skipped steps during critical inspections.

Integrated JSA Management
Safety is paramount. The platform integrates Job Safety Analysis (JSA) forms directly into the workflow, requiring technicians to confirm safe practices and identify hazards before work begins, significantly reducing worksite incidents.

Automated Customer Portal
A live portal where generated AI reports (Cause-Action-Result) are made available to clients within 24 hours. This transparency eliminates back-and-forth communication, accelerates invoicing, and dramatically improves client trust.
